Next Generation Ready: Expert Advice on Farm Succession Planning - Farmers Breakfast Event at Nottinghamshire County Show

Our event 'Next Generation Ready: Expert Advice on Farm Succession Planning' is kicking off the Nottinghamshire County Show at 9am on 10 May, and we hope you can be part of it.

This breakfast meeting, open to anyone who has bought a ticket for the show, is being held to help farmers prepare for the forthcoming changes to agricultural property relief.

Hear from our panel of business, tax and legal experts to help navigate and identify key considerations when succession planning in your business. These include how to encourage you and your family to start the conversation about succession planning early, especially in light of recent budget changes to IHT, to help reduce the risk to your farming business.

Our guest panel of speakers includes:

Chair: Sir Mark Spencer, Deputy President for Newark & Notts Agricultural Society

Charlie Bryant, Partner Land Agent, Brown&Co Rural

Chris Sheldon, Agricultural Business Consultant, Brown and Co

Michael Ball, Tax Partner, Streets Chartered Accountants

Emma Carr, Legal Director, Shakespeare Martineau
